Woo! Love the horse barding! :-) I cringe at the thought of doing the piping that way. Kudos for getting it done in spite of that! I like how the horse likes the sounds. :)

The piping *seemed* like a good idea at the time, and it wasn't too hard to get the right amount to show on the edges in the practice piece, but 53" of decorative reins are a whole nother matter.

Do you have a piping foot? I'm thinking of the thread from jenthompson. It seems like it'd be cool to be able to make your own.

No, I don't have a piping foot, I only have one foot on this new sewing machine. I really need to go shopping at the sewing machine store and by new feet. The trouble is just deciding which ones to get, there are lots of ones that would be cool to have.
