Off to Coronation today!

This afternoon I am of to An Tir Coronation, which is promissing to be a good event.
The orange dress is wearable, the front guards still need to be sewed on and it needs a couple of hooks and eyes to keep the skirt below the waist closed, BUT its wearable so I won't get faint from the heat.
I also whipped up a half circle cloak right out of Alcega last night, double layer wool, one layer is black crepe wool which has been fulled and the other is a thicker orange wool. It looks so good on me and the leaf pin I made in class works great as a cloak pin.

Ok, I clicked the post button too soon.

I am camping at Coronation with a few friends, Aine and Shauna. They drove down earlier today and should be arriving right about now to set things up. Aine has a huge tent and she has graciously offered me one of the rooms in it. I can't wait till the clock strikes 3:45, I can take off then with a clean conscience.
