One week from today is my last day of work!!! Yee Haa!

In light of this, I have been thinking about the direction I want to take my costuming in. I have a couple of projects in the works, but those will be quickly finished up once I get started working on them.

Now, after the pink dress, the farthingale and the new corset are finished, what then?

Should I break out of my 1530's period and go later?

Fur, something with fur is calling my name. Jen's new outfit has me totally wanting something similar.

I have this horrid green velvet that's calling to be a better green or another color. I could also sell it and buy something that's the shade that I want...

Right now, clothes that are warm and snuggly are what I want.

What's worse than fabric? Books. I decided I needed a little "Kiss this job goodbye" present.

In order to use some of the fabric that I have in my stash, that is just SOO the wrong color, but was such the right fabric and price, I will need to dye it. And since I am officially the world's worst dyer, its time for a little reading up on the subject. So I got on Amazon and picked up these two, by the reviews they sound good.

(Technical dying help)
"Fabric Painting and Dyeing for the Theatre"
Deborah Dryden;Paperback;

(This one is more of a color theory book, I need help in this area)
"Color Play: Easy Steps to Imaginative Color in Quilts"
Joen Wolfrom;Paperback;

Then I decided I needed to read up on fencing, since I am taking it again next month, Epee this time.

"The Inner Game of Fencing: Excellence in Form, Technique, Strategy and Spirit."
Nick Evangelista;

"The Woman Fencer"
Nick Evangelista

Then to round things out, I got the P&P soundtrack, which I have asked for before for birthday's and Christmas, and it seems to get missed.
