Thanksgiving weekend

This holiday weekend was very nice. Thursday Matt had to work so I stayed home and made pies, then went out to a friends house for dinner. The plan was to go there and then go to another person's house for another dinner, but after the first one I was feeling ILL! Too much salt I think, especially as I had hardly eaten anything except olives and pickles for appetizers.

Friday morning Matt and I took my grandma to visit my family and I at least had a good time. On Saturday Matt helped my Dad and brothers build a fence for their new puppy, and wonder of wonders the project actually got compleated! Not without a little friendly persuasion by me to my Dad to get him to go get the rest of the stuff they needed for the fence. Getting projects done in one day is NOT my families strong points, we have a tendency to daddle and think about things instead of actually pitching in and gettting it done.

Sunday we drove home and had a nice relaxing afternoon.

Today, on the other hand, is Paper Writting Day! Next Monday is the due date for my grant proposal and I need to get cracking. Ugh. I can't wait for this quarter to be over so I can get to sewing, I have so many projects that I want to start on and can't until the paper is done with. ;( Such is life.

-Caught up on message boards for school

-Almost done with school assignment for this week

-New mattress delievered, an hour early too! Nothing like recieving deliveries in wet hair and thrown on clothes. They were running a 'little' early, oh say an hour and 10 minutes early!

-Caught up on husband's family issues and advice delievered

-No progress made on paper so far, but hey! The day is yet young!
