mmcnealy: (Frustration)

I really don't know where the week went to, allergies tend to make me loose track of all time and this week proved to be no exception.  Here's a recap of what's happened so far, a whole lot of nothing. Hopefully the allergy medicine will kick in soon so I can feel a little sharper and not quite so blaaah.

Andrews Doublet

My brother's doublet and new linen shirt are done and mailed off. Hopefully he will like it, hopefully he will actually wear it! Looks like he's coming down with stage fright and might not participate at all, the Drama teacher was going to talk to him about this and hopefully help him through this. Mom has seen the other costumes and she says that they are mostly T-tunics and the ilk, the Drama teacher was really excited about Andrew having a period costume, but Mom's afraid that he will want to 'fit' in with the other kids costumes and that she'll have to make him a new one, a T tunic so he will look like all the other kids.  DAMN! If I had known that I wouldn't have spent so much anguish and energy making the darn thing. He'd better wear it and wear it proudly. *grumble*

The House Across the Street...

Is no longer there! This morning at 7:15 am, a big clawed tractor started tearing it down. By 9 am, most of the house had been loaded up into big trucks and hauled away. Now its just finishing ripping up the foundations. Wonder what's going into the space... didn't see a Neighborhood comment notice like one usually see's before they rip a place out.

The paper is due tomorrow, it got put on hold for Kingdom A&S, family visit, my brother's costume,  cleaning the bathtub, traning the dust bunnies under the bed how to jump through flamming hoops for the circus.... Yes, I've been procrastinating. I'll be good now and go work on the paper.
