Homework avoidance
Feb. 19th, 2005 10:32 amToday I have to work on homework for classes. I'd much rather be doing about 20 million other fun things.
Task list for the weekend
Saturday
- Readings and questions for collection development
- Reading, questions and re-organization of data for Digital Libraries
- Start research for term paper for Digital Libraries (40% of the final grade, topic will depend on amount of published sources on topic.
Topics from the list he gave us that I'm interested in: User interfaces and personalization for digital libraries; User study: What do users really want from digital libraries?; Trend analysis: collection development for digital collections.
-Class outlines for Spring collegium that I'd like to teach at.
Sunday
- Church
- Lunch
- Make dinner for friends
- Spend time with Matt
Monday (a holiday!)
- Write term paper.
- Any time left over will be spent doing fun things, like working on the trim that's due next Saturday, articles due for GBT or anything else not related to schoolwork.
