At home sick today, so I'm playing around with Bildindex because it doesn't care if I'm grouchy as a bear.

Here's a little eye candy for you, somehow I don't think I can go down to Home Depot and pick these up.

Watched the new movie "Luther" tonight. It was quite good, the costuming was erraticly historic BUT all the women usually had their hair covered, which earns big points with me, plus there were some seriously rich fabrics on the cardinals that I would love to have :)

I'm sick of being sick, I've been sick for over a month now and it stinks being exhausted all the time. *huge sigh* Hopefully I'll get better soon, I'm working hard at it, so all this resting up had better work!

A tent

I ordered my pavilion today! It should get here around my birthday at the end of April.

I ordered it from Tentsmiths, www.tentsmiths.com, 13' round, straight walls, royal blue stripes on the roof and a scallop vallance. Also ordered the floor and the center pole. The side poles, dog bones and ropes I'll make with the help of a friend already lined up to help and the stakes I need to decide where to order those from.

I'm really looking forward to camping in my own tent, I can't wait!

Had to pass this along to all the foodies,

Corpus of culinary & dietetic texts of Europe from the Middle Ages to 1800

http://staff-www.uni-marburg.de/~gloning/kobu.htm

What I really like about this site is that he gives the dates next to the titles so you can just skim down the list and pick out the ones in the right century.
