The paper...... *huge sigh*
Oct. 16th, 2003 03:22 pmThe paper for grad school is refusing to get written. The paper for A&S on Saturday is begging to be written, documented, gussied up and polished. The website is screaming for attention. The paper for grad school is being stuborn and almost refuses to believe I exist and certainly wants nothing to do with me.
Does anyone else ever give projects personalities?
Oh, and to top it all off, I feel a cold waiting in the wings for me, which probably accounts for why I am dragging through the day.
Bleh.
The good news, 11 more days of work, Ship's Christmas party location booked, Matt's on his way home, he called from Singapore last Friday.

I'm not leaving work until I finish tonight.
Or I fall asleep, whichever comes first (though I am REALLY caffeinated right now!)

Date: 2003-10-16 06:51 pm (UTC)I am so happy for you that he gets to come home for Christmas, that's so sweet. A grand is worth it for him to come home and be with you.

Date: 2003-10-16 07:25 pm (UTC)I am going offline now so I don't get so distracted by email and LJ, the news, fabrics stores and anything else that could possibly distract me.
Hope you have a good writting night.

Date: 2003-10-16 09:36 pm (UTC)The first morning he was home over Christmas last year, he woke up wonder why I was in bed with him at Fort Jackson. Took me about a day and a half this last time to feel like it was real. He said he felt like poking me to see if I was real at the airport. We've managed to see each other about every 3 months over the last year, but this next will be killer.
I happy for you. Go and count down the days! (On second thought, this is the Navy, don't)

Date: 2003-10-16 09:42 pm (UTC)My feelings exactly! I want to, but I know that until the ship is docked at the pier, anything and everything can change.
Both of us will have a hard time believing that the other is there, its going to seem like some wonderful dream
YAY!! for you

Date: 2003-10-17 07:43 am (UTC)I was bored senseless throughout most of my Librarianship degree course. Imean, I like being a Librarian, it's waht i wanted to be form the age of about 14 onwards - but as a subject, its about as interesting as watching paint dry in slow-motion.
Hang in there!
