The paper for grad school is refusing to get written. The paper for A&S on Saturday is begging to be written, documented, gussied up and polished. The website is screaming for attention. The paper for grad school is being stuborn and almost refuses to believe I exist and certainly wants nothing to do with me.

Does anyone else ever give projects personalities?

Oh, and to top it all off, I feel a cold waiting in the wings for me, which probably accounts for why I am dragging through the day.

Bleh.

The good news, 11 more days of work, Ship's Christmas party location booked, Matt's on his way home, he called from Singapore last Friday.

You and me both, darling.

I'm not leaving work until I finish tonight.

Or I fall asleep, whichever comes first (though I am REALLY caffeinated right now!)

When will he be home?!?! I'm excited for you, I know how I get when he's soon to be home.

We just shelled out a grand to get my hubby home for Christmas. Ugh, why does it have to be so damn expensive?

He's getting home right before Vetern's day. I am sooo psych'd, and a little nervous about how its going to be like being back together after being apart for so long.

I am so happy for you that he gets to come home for Christmas, that's so sweet. A grand is worth it for him to come home and be with you.

Ok, we can be partners in paper writting tonight. I've now had a nap, dinner and am in the middle of a large latte. Hopefully the words will just start flowing out of my fingers.

Off to go compare professional associations for librarians. WooHoo!

Woot!

Or just partners in obsessively checking our friends list...

Hmm.

Hmm... indeed. ;)

I am going offline now so I don't get so distracted by email and LJ, the news, fabrics stores and anything else that could possibly distract me.

Hope you have a good writting night.

I get nervous too, part of me is afraid we won't "work" together like we used to, but we always do. May take some time before you both feel like normal.

The first morning he was home over Christmas last year, he woke up wonder why I was in bed with him at Fort Jackson. Took me about a day and a half this last time to feel like it was real. He said he felt like poking me to see if I was real at the airport. We've managed to see each other about every 3 months over the last year, but this next will be killer.

I happy for you. Go and count down the days! (On second thought, this is the Navy, don't)

"Go and count down the days! (On second thought, this is the Navy, don't)"

My feelings exactly! I want to, but I know that until the ship is docked at the pier, anything and everything can change.

Both of us will have a hard time believing that the other is there, its going to seem like some wonderful dream

YAY!! for you

I am so glad to hear that you both will be together soon. I also wanted to say Good Luck with your A&S stuff.

You too! Hope things go well with you being able to go.

Man, my husband would be dead meat if he pulled a volunteering stunt like your's did today. He'd be getting the silent treatment for a while.

He damn near did die. It turned out to be a situation where his boss volunteered him to go to another job site to these two other higher up people in the company. He still had to deal with me in Raging Bitch mode for an hour and a half until it was all explained adequately. He also made dinner which is a great way to suck up to me.

You can't balme it for not wantign to get written - I mean such a boring subject.

I was bored senseless throughout most of my Librarianship degree course. Imean, I like being a Librarian, it's waht i wanted to be form the age of about 14 onwards - but as a subject, its about as interesting as watching paint dry in slow-motion.

Hang in there!

Teddy
