Days half over, she says dazedly
Oct. 29th, 2003 10:58 amI have had two shots of espresso and a whole package of M&M's and the brain is STILL fogged. Bleh.
I stayed up way too late last night after getting home from serving dinner at the shelter, reading email and websurfing, so I got to bed about 11.
Then my cat decided that it was play with paper bag time at 4 am. FOUR AM! Of course it was a paper bag right by the head of my bed. I vaugely woke up and yelled at him to stop occasionally for a good 30 min before I was mad enough to wake up all the way to escort him to the door and kicked his little behind outside into the cold frosty air. Not to worry, my heart was frostier at that point, and he has a nice thick fur coat this winter, so his little ears will be fine. Grrr, stupid cats. Oooooh, how neglected and unloved he is! He only gets kitty treats once a day! Call the SPCA!
Paper bag playing is cute at 11 am, or anytime after the alarm goes off and I'm not trying to take a nap, but in the middle of the night? NO.
Two and a half more days and I am done with this job. Not like I'm counting it down or anything.

Date: 2003-10-29 11:18 am (UTC)Heh, aren't all animals like that? Our old guinea pig would Beg and Beg for food if she didn't get treats every 2 hours. Oh, poor pig, she's starving. She has pellets in her bowl, but they aren't good enough!
Midgie is just happy if she's left alone in her cage. She's is seriously Bothered by being picked up. So we pick her up and cuddle on the couch with her lots!

Date: 2003-10-29 02:15 pm (UTC)I realize that its nice to have a relationship, but I find constant neediness in a man *most* annoying. Especially at 4 am. Very hard to get laundry done and house cleaning.
Maybe you need to have defined chat times so both of you can do things like, clean house and grocery shop and so forth.
Probably too much advice, but

Date: 2003-10-29 02:19 pm (UTC)It's just catching up to me quicker than him, I think. (Then again he really hasn't adjusted his sleep schedule any...I'll just wear his sorry ass out when he gets here. >:)

Date: 2003-10-29 02:19 pm (UTC)Yup, its my last, last day before what my Dad is calling my 'retirement' .
I can't wait to get out of here and not have to deal with people who can't seem to find their own elbows. Gah, the stupid requests I get!

Oh, that sounds like a plan! Hehehe. Oh, evil thoughts are going through my head about East coast to West coast time zone differences, and how early they crash at night.
Man, I need a nap.
