Downloaded virus software and a spyware cleaner this morning after I found the computer had dialed into the Internet without assistance. Didn't have a virus but did have several spyware apps that were suspicious. Wonder how they got there? I think it was one of those quiz sites. Anyway, that was most of the morning with the slow download speeds that I have.

The paper is coming together, in fact it could even be done today if I got on the ball and stopped goofing off and finding other things to do besides work on it. So far I am getting an A in this class, have gotten all points possible, so a 4.0 is possibility for this quarter, if I do a half decent job on this paper. Go me!

running Zone Alarm is a good idea, too. Don't bother with the Pro version, as it just farts fancier than the standard version. :)

Ah, I got a firewall with my install of Norton Anti-virus, came with Norton Internet Security which has a firewall. Its pretty amazing how many attacks its deflected in 24 hours of having it up and running.
