The paper didn't get finished yesterday, my brain turned to unco-operative mush about 4:30. Hopefully it'll be done and turned in by 3pm today so I can get started on some sewing projects for 12th Night. The farthingale is the first thing that's going to get worked on, then comes a new corset. Hopefully by that point I will have figured out where I am taking my wardrobe, since I am still trying to figure out the direction I want to take my costuming efforts... It will definitly be German, 1500's, but Early? Mid? Late? Right now I am trending towards late, 1570-1580's since I am feeling like making a kick ass outfit for showing off at court at 12 Night.

Tonight is Glee club with the Barony and I am really looking forward to singing and visiting with folks. Hopefully we will sing lots of good Christmasy music.

Come to the year 1562. It was a good year all the way around. So try to ignore the fact that at 12th night I will be in the year 1473. I wish I could go see you guys practice, but I am not a gentleman's daughter & I have to work late & get up early. I miss you now that Matty is home (Happy, but lonesome) I haven't seen you for days & days-Ysabelot

I know, I haven't seen you either for going on forever!

Matt's gone the 9-16 so I am free of husband responsibilities, so if you happen to be free any days or hours in that time frame, lets get together and do something and catch up.

Hmm.... Having a holiday cookie/goody exchange comes to mind. Unfortuantly I can't think of too many songs that would combine all of the traditions and still be singable. ;)

Haven't ever heard that song before.

Pacific fabrics at Northgate sells buckram, its not too expensive IIRC.
