Schleier Update

I took the pictures of my new schleier and the original inspriation to the social last night and had a good talk with the other Marion, ysabelot  and a bunch of other folks about the general look and outline.  Ysabelot pointed out that the original has more of a horizontal line across the top of her head, versus mine which doesn't. I tried to wrap the veil so that it would create that line, but it wasn't co-operating and giving me that line. This leads me to believe that there's something underneath the veil, oh say false braids? That would give that nice horizontal line to the head.

I have some dark brown satin that is just about my hair color, so I plan to make them out of that, but only after I put in a good 4 hours minimum on my school projects and take my walk for the day.

I also met slysidonia and her apprentice last night and had a wonderful chat with both of them. Its always nice to make new friends. 

Today promises to be a much cooler day, which makes me a very happy girl!
