Won 3, lost 2. Petticoat is done

mmcnealyFencing was fantastic tonight!!! My feet came underneath me and the hands worked and I was scoring points all over the place. I lost against the instructor, but I made him work for it, my long legs keeping me just out of reach of his blade most of the time. I won against three of the better people in the class, and lost to this one guy whose blade is just sooo fast. I was definitly improved over last week. I love fencing.
In sewing news, the petticoat is done and the lining is ready to be put in the dress. So tomorrow night is sewing night, I could go swing dancing to a live band, but it would feel weird to be there without Matt and be dancing with my friends husbands and boyfriends or random guys who ask. So I will just come home, sew and get this dress DONE. I am ready to move onto other projects that are a little more interesting.
