Pink Augsburg dress!

mmcnealyThe Pink Augsburger dress is being resurected.
Things I have learned from the 1500's dress:
- Measuring and fitting any dress over a sports bra is key to disaster. My sports bras compress me more than my corsets do. Not a good thing.
- I need an undergarment of some kind to provide compression. The dress just can't do it alone. There needs to be something else taking the strain. In my orange and black dress its a partlet that laces and that provides the compression. For the pink dress, I think its going to be an underbodice as is commonly seen in Summer and bathing scenes. Then the dress will go on top of that and lace up the sides, at least that's the plan.
So this project means the following.
-At least one new smock, probably two.
-Underbodice
-Underskirt
-Dress (already cut out except for sleeves)
- A new haube
