Productive sewing day

Today was quite productive, sewing wise anyway. The pink dress is now down to the hand finishing, hooks and eyes, etc.

I also ripped out a new linen smock tonight, hopefully this one will turn out right all the way around, big enough in the hips with good sleeves and right in the shoulders.


Still debating whether or not to go to GWW, I didn't pre-reg so there's no money lost if I don't go.

Plus side:
- I have Columbus day off as a paid holiday.
- Good people to camp with and that I really want to get to know better.
- Clothes for the event.
- Should be a fun time

Minus side
- Its an approximently 7 hour drive down there, by myself.
- I'd have to take Friday off, or actually work more the other 4 days so I could make up my hours and get Friday off so I could leave early enough not to run into bad traffic around the LA area

Yah, I know, I'm being a wuss about the drive. I should probably just go for the exposure and the fun time.

OK, I guess I'll go, long drive or not. I'm so happy to hear about all the compliments you got on the hat, it really does suit you very well.

Yup, I'm still working with Kass to get it published. Its slow going as both she and I have been super busy this summer, but she's getting printing quotes and I'm working on finishing up the drawings for it, so maybe by early next year it will be on sale. I can't believe how long this takes, hopefully the next one will go faster!
