Technical troubles

I'm having technical troubles on the internet router side of things, so if you haven't heard from me, its mainly due to uncooperative technology that is beyond my control. But its only Yahoo and LJ that have the trouble, everything else is fine! Its quite frustrating.


In other news, I found this website that has the coolest settings. The ones on this page don't have prongs and I can't tell if they are bezel settings or if you are supposed to glue the stones in. Any ideas?

I think they are mostly glued in.. I would have to see it in person to see if there is enough room to bend the metal slightly around the stone.

This is such a cool site. Thanks for sharing. Of course the ones that are EXACTLY what I've been looking for are sold out...*sigh* well I was planning on making my own settings from scratch anyway.

yep, it's called superglue (in the trade we sometimes call this jewellers special cement aka extra$$ always done in the back room where no one can see!)

they would make good cheap pearl settings.

Thanks for sharing this!! I have been looking for a supplier like this for ages. I like your choices, and I agree...glue in. I'm sitting here wondering how well they would work sewn on. I guess one could always resort to the clear thread, and stitch over them, between the stones. Very cool site tho'!! Have a super time at GWW!

I'll work out the tent. If a groundwart is ok, you can have our second-best, which is about 10x12, iirc, and really ugly. Æddie's wart is already going to Patiphil.

I'm working on another option, but that'll have to wait until I get a phone call back.

Ciorstan is bringing her son this time, so it might be a little awkward for you to bunk with her. I will ask Cicilia if there is room in the BDP.

We will work it out.

That is the current plan, yes. I have to get some clothes made for her between now and then, as well as finish the pantry tent and finish sewing on the ties for the doors of your dormitory.
