I'm off LJ for two days and I miss tons of drama! Not fair!

I've decided to try and dye the yellow a little darker using a tea dye solution to see if that makes the color a little more amberish, of course I will be dying swatches before I dye the whole thing.

The brown silk will probably be made into this dress from Frankfurt. Notice the bottom hoop of her farthingale peaking out from her hem. ;)

The drama was much fun.

The drama did sound like it was fun, I'm sorry I missed it.

Oooh, you'll be all shiny in the sunlight, wearing the Frankfurt gown!

That's a great style.

Yup, I'll be glimmering in the sun. ;)

Thanks, I love German styles, they match my figure and body shape so well.

Pardon the dumb question, but are those organ pleats in her skirt?

Nope, not a dumb question, I don't know if they are or not yet. I haven't sat down and looked at the evidence in the picture to determine it or not.

The brown silk will be gorgeous in that style! I wish you the best with your tea dying experiments. :)
