Vote by County
Nov. 8th, 2004 09:25 pmDon't know if you've seen this yet or not, but I thought it was pretty cool!
Here is a link to a map of the US by county, if its red then the county went to George, if its blue then it went to John. What's special about this map is that it shows the net volume of votes in 3-D! So you can see how big the vote was, say in Seattle versus the rest of Washington. Pretty cool stuff!

Here's the same map, but in a flat view

Date: 2004-11-09 05:00 pm (UTC)I just keep reminding myself that I live in a little pocket of enlightened liberalism ;) which is not to be confused with any sort of demographic majority overall.
*sigh*
people always think the west coast is "liberal" but its erally only the cities, while the rest of the states are as conservative as they come, to the point of scary. When I lived in eastern WA it really freaked me out sometimes! (I had to have my boyfriend park around the block if he stayed the night or else the townspeople would have had issues with me teaching their kids)
