The power of cuteness....
Nov. 27th, 2004 06:02 pmThe neighbors next door have a new dog, a boxer, in addition to the old senile dog that they have already. They sure know how to pick um, both dogs are lacking in the brains department and would fall into the catagory of stooopid.
Today was the boxer's first day outside, and it barked at everything! It barked at the wind, the rain, leaves, me at the kitchen windown, and he was especially barky at Ginger-snap, my orange and cream cat.
At first Ginger was scared of the dog and skulked around the edge of the house behind the bushes. Then he discovered that the dog was safely behind a 6 foot high chain-link fence and couldn't get him if it wanted to. heh he he
So Ginger has been in and out of the house, ALL day! He likes to walk back and forth in front of the dog and then sit on our picnic table and take a bath, just to make the dog bark and go nuts!
This afternoon, when I was out getting a much needed haircut, Matt let Ginger outsite, yet again.
The boxer next door started barking madly, the old one in the back started in to, the dog across the street started in as well. Dogs being walked down the street started barking uncontrollably and wanted to come in the yard and investigate.... All because one orange and cream cat was calmly licking his paws on the picnic table. ;)
Oh, yes... The power of cuteness!
