Doublet is finished

Ok, well maybe not all the way but close. It still needs the trim put on and the hooks and eyes put on, but the garment is done. I started on it about 8:45 last night, had to adjust the pattern, draft the shoulder wings and skirts over, cut out and sew. I was done with it by 11:30 pm.

Now I am at work, cleaning out my desk and packing up. As soon as I have the exit interview at 11 I am outta here to drive over to my parents house. Hopefully I should be there by about 3:30. I think once the adrenalin has worn off on Saturday afternoon I am going to be a basket case.

I am praying that it will be cooler there tomorrow than what it is forcasted to be.

oh, MAN, I know what you mean. The last forecast I saw it was just going to get hotter and hotter and hotter.

I'm taking a change of clothes (VIKING), just in case. I got over heated last night in apartment with the new get up on.

Yikes.

If you need to vent Saturday, you'll know where to find me. LOL
