Tired and more tired

mmcnealyThe faire was so much fun on Saturday, we volunteered from 7-10 am, but by about 11:30 the adrenalin that had been getting me through the last week had burned through and I was starting to collapse. My sister's dress turned out beautifully and my brother's doublet was really good to. I am so glad that he is more of a severe Spanish type and doesn't like trim. It really did suit him and the linen shirt that I made for him (that my Mom put in the gussets) turned out well. Got to meet Adrianne finally, her dress turned out wonderfully and looks really good on her. :)
I have pics but I am too tired to upload and post them now. It was so hot that I think I serously over-heated and got heat sick between Saturday at the faire and drving home on Sunday with no A/C, that and lack of sleep has me still feeling smacked down.
On a sad note, my brother's dog broke his neck on Saturday night falling out of a tree. He was a beagle who liked to climb trees, he climbed up to high and fell out. Very sad. :_(
Today was the first day of the new job... Went pretty well, I actually have business cards on the first day, all my co-workers are surprised at how much HR got their act together and managed to get everything organized and to me on the first day.
I am off to bed to go catch up on my sleep. *yawn*

It was just TOO hot on Saturday. Sunday was better (wore one of my Viking outfits), but it was still very warm. Definitely need to invest in hankie weight linen...
