Progress

I got the bodice on the orange dress done, I need to finish the edge of the skirt, pleat, apply guards, etc ad nauseum. I don't feel like sewing. I feel like cleaning the kitchen and cooking period dishes from this new cookbook I got and finally got around to reading. I really want to update the dress diaries... Just about anything BUT sew. I need to sew. Must keep chanting this mantra otherwise its going to be the hot blue dress this weekend at coranation as that is my one and only piece of garb. I am learning a ton that will apply to the pink Augsburg dress.

In other fun news I _finally_ ordered my fencing gear!!! I got the notice that it shipped from CA this afternoon so I am hoping that it will get here by the end of the week.

Here are pictures of my sister's dress. They aren't the best, but I am hoping that my parent's got better ones on the regular camra. You can see the sleeve tabs though, the dress is about 2/3 hand sewn, the only things machine sewn are the bodice seams and the skirt seams, all the pieces were put together by hand and all the trim is sewn by hand.

Major Relief!!!

Guess what? I decided to check the weather at the site for Coranation and I just found out that its NOT this weekend, its the weekend after next!!! Yay! More time for procrastination on sewing!!!

Ok, so maybe not procrastination but this does give me a chance to get caught up on the website and folding the mound of laundry that has decided to take over the couch.

Diary Update. Alcega 59a Finished!

I really got my act together tonight and got the Alcega 59a diary done. The laundry pile hasn't moved an inch, funny how that happened....
