A chilly day and cleaning
Nov. 5th, 2003 06:11 pmMy house is finally clean enough to start working on projects! Yay! Yesterday was pretty much a take it easy day, but today I got up and got started cleaning by 9 am, by lunchtime everything was swiffered, vaccumed and in pretty much general order.
Then I relaxed on the couch and read a good book with Ginger-snap purring on my knees.
For some reason my back has been cold all day, no matter what I wear its still cold, I can be overheating everywhere else but it would still be cold. Finally I put on the new little fur shrug that I bought from Maddy on Sunday, its a mahogany silky fur of unknown origin and it covers my lower back which has been cold and hurting, with my black wool short cape and fox fur collar over that, and all this is over a wool sweater. Now I am finally warm, although it looks kinda funny.
I think when I make my next gollar its going to be one of the vesty type ones with a collar that covers the lower back and lined in fur. From my experience this last weekend in garb at the Ithra, where it was cold indoors and freezing outside, that's one area on my body that quickly goes from warm to freezing and then doesn't get warm again easily.
