A really wonderful Birthday weekend!

Saturday happenings

Came home on Saturday morning, cleaned house and got packed up for ysabelot 's and my day trip down to May Faire. Matt took off for mini golf and a BBQ with an old friend of ours, so I didn't feel bad about going to an event.

Sunday

Sunday was over before I knew it...

Got up early and made two cakes for the picnic while Matt went grocery shopping. Made a Scrumpiously moist chocolate cake with espresso frosting and an Apple cake with buttercream frosting. Oh so nummy!  About 11:30 we headed down to the park to get set up for the birthday picnic. Amazingly, the weather turned sunny and nice right after we got the picnic table secured.
