mmcnealy: (Old Me)
Today was a nice end to the week, got lots accomplished at work and am working on sewing stuff again tonight. I should probably be reading really dry stuff for school, but I will do that on Sunday instead.

Tomorrow is Kingdom A&S with a boatload of classes to decide which to take and which to not. The weather is co-operating perfectly and the high should be about 66 degrees, which means my blue wool dress will be just *perfect* for the weather, not too hot, oh I am just loving this climate right now!

I got the new steuchlein finished last night, now it looks right from the front and the back. I will have to get pictures taken of the back of my head tomorrow so I can post them, as my arms only stretch so far....

The pink dress is coming along nicely, amazing how making a dress from an already created pattern speeds things up dramatically. It must be more of an orangy pink than I thought it was since the pink thread that I bought ages ago doesn't match but the bright orange thread that I used for the orange and black dress does. Hrmm...

Right now I am trying to decide if I should work on my new chemise, the suport bodice based off of the woodcut, the pink dress or follow Ysabelot's example and start a pair of socks? Mind you, everything but the socks is already cut out and started.
