Last night I got the pattern for the new steuchlein drafted and fitted. I've decided to go for a two peice fitted veil instead of the one piece half circle veil that I have now. (The steuchlein is the veil over the unterhaube, which gives the shape for the white thing that I wear on my head in the above photo)

Anyway, it turned out well but it was too late to sew it together, so I went to bed and read about the history of the Europeon linen industry. Very fascenating reading! I'd post more but I have to go get ready for work. The ILL service at the local hole in the wall library is SO MUCH better than the Seattle Public Library ever was.

Tonight we've got a housewarming to go to and then a town celebration, but tomorrow is Sewing Day! WooHoo!
