Fall

Its Fall here. It arrived sometime last week, Thursday I think.

The daily tempreture hasn't really changed, but the sunlight is just that much less intense, the air has that fall chill to it and doesn't feel warm, even in the sun.

The air wants me to wear wool skirts and jackets, hats and gloves. The summer cottons and linens need to be put away and the wools pulled out.

We might have another couple of warm days, but it will just be a pale wan cousin of its summer bretheren.

A small comment on current fashion trends...

I *adore* the new fitted look! Princess seams and dresses with actual waist seams, the more structured styles, they are my friends.
