Ebay selling tips?

I've decided its time to do a little cleaning out of various closets and bins, and I'd like to sell things on eBay. Unfortunatly I usually have horrible luck selling stuff on there, buying is a whole nother story.

Anybody got any good tips on selling stuff on eBay?

Gandolf is a period name

Who would have thought that Gandolf is a 15th century name? :)
