In the mail today Patternmaking for Fashion Design (Paper) (4th Edition) (Ring-bound).

I think I'm gonna love this book to pieces! Not only does it teach the basics of pattern drafting from measurments, but it also goes into drafting modern styles, not the outdated 1980's ones that are so often seen in pattern drafting books. I can't wait until I have more time to really sit down and study all 800 pages of it. The 150 pages on sleeves is worth the price of the book alone.

Now I just need time to work through it.... Maybe I'll be able to do that when I finish grad school in less than 4 months. 4 months! Woo Hoo!

Looks like a great book! I am in love with drafting at this point. :) I have several books on it too. I think this is one of the text books in our advance drafting classes. I have a good on draping too. I'll send you the ISBN if you want. It's a great suppliment to drafting.

Does this book also show you how to drape basic forms and then convert them for flat pattern drafting, or is it just flat pattern drafting.

By the way,......It's been awhile. :)

This is just a pure drafting book, no draping. Even though I don't have a dress form to do draping on, I'd still like the ISBN number for the draping book.

Best of luck on your surgery, I hope the recovery is fast! :)
