I've made it to RI. I'm not in the house yet, but the library down the street from our new address has a great computer lab. Today's been a busy day with making medical arraingments, grocery shopping, library card getting, catching up on numerous email messages. If all goes well, the household goods should be delievered on Monday to our new address.

Newport is really pretty, and the old mansions along Bellevue avenue are splendid, I can hardly wait to go exploring!

The really great news is that I just got cleared for graduation, so my diploma should be coming in the mail in the near future! :) I'm so thrilled!

My time is almost up at the library computers, hope everyone is doing well. If I missed anything major, please post a reply and let me know about it. I should hopefully be back online in a regular fashion starting late next week at the earliest.

I hope _you_ are doing well.
I am slaving with revising my dissertation. As it looks now it will be finished for printing by the end of May and I wil defend it in September.
Good to hear from you again.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm at the 20 week mark in the pregnancy so I really feel great right now. I messed up my right shoulder in cleaning up the old house, but the doctor should be able to fix that this afternoon (I hope).

I am restless and ready to be settled in the house already. Hotels are nice, but boring!

I was in Newport once, in January. The ice on the cliffs behind the mansion walk was amazing. Beautiful town. I remember wishing we could spend more time there.

Welcome to the East Coast! As a fellow West Coast translpant, I can say that it is a different world out here, but one that is fun and neat and very enjoyable. Glad you had a safe trip, and happy settling in to the new place! :)

Ouch! I remember the library computers with their Time Limits of Doom and the everpresent Eau de Homeless. Good luck with getting on line, soonest!

I'll be out to visit in May, so you'll see me then. :)

It feels really wierd to be out on the other coast, the time change while talking to people on the West coast takes some real getting used to.

Hurrah, you're finally on LJ. Of course I befriended you! :) Not to much going on research wise right now, just trying to move in and get settled.
