Why do the Tuesdays after a holiday feel like Mondays?

I think it's re-entry shock. Unavoidable. Have days off...enjoy, relax...and wham. Soon as it's over, it's re-entry to the quasi-real world again. Yep. They surely do!

I think that tuesdays after holidays are even worse because you have to catch up on everything you didn't do on monday.
