A chance of rain.

Today's forecast called for a chance of showers.

Well, its showering all right! Its been pouring rain since 11pm last night with blustery winds. If I wanted to walk across the street in front of my house I'd practically need a row boat. My neighbors yards are lakes, all they need are ducks paddling around in them.

Good thing that the last couple of days have been nice and sunny, otherwise I'd be buying a full spectrum lamp for a sunshine fix.

Its a good day for baking and sewing, so I'd better get back to doing that instead of looking out the window and complaining about the rain.

You are one of the all-time best people I know at making the absolute most out of a rainy day - your productivity inspires me. Last night it was gorgeous here and yes, I walked around Greenlake with friends and yes I went for coffee with other friends, but then I came home, looked at my blistered heels and promptly sat down to play solitare till I went to bed.
