Today I got bored and applied for 4 different jobs on the WAMU website, not really expecting to ever hear anything from them. Their website is sort of a black hole, you apply and hear nothing, besides I have something like 40 former co-workers over there and have sent my resume over several times and heard nothing... But then I am a huge believer in timing, that sometimes the timing isn't right and you just need to wait. The grad school app is off, so maybe its time to move onto the next stage: a new job.
I get home tonight and check my messages, I have one from some guy in WAMU HR, he left me a voice mail 30 minutes after I submitted my online app! Of course I got it after business hours, but I am going to call him back first thing tomorrow. I am so hoping that something positive will come out of this, I really want a different job.
I was going to sew tonight, and then realized after talking to my sister-in-law, my parents and my grandma, that I was going to be lucky to get the laundry done and the house started towards presentable shape for having people over for dinner tomorrow, before it was time to collapse into bed. No sewing for me tonight, maybe I will take the boning to work tomorrow and do it there, would give me something productive and not boring to do to make the day pass a little quicker.
