Was out wandering the net today and found a new-to-me online yarn store, with really good prices.   KnitPicks


A Review from Knitter's Review  has reviews on individual yarns that they sell and pictures of knitted swatches. 

The prices look fantastic and really reasonable.

I didn't realize you were a knitter as well. Have you looked at knitty.com ? it's a great site for reveiws and free patters.

I just bought some yarn to make a lacy victorian shawl.

Yup, I knit, along with many other handcrafty things. :D I mainly knit hats these days, and make up my own patterns for them. I do like Knitty.com though for the great stories that go along with the patterns.

I've made sweaters in the past, and really need to make a Fair Isle one for my Mom, she's only been waiting for it for almost 10 years!
