Finishing the unfinished

mmcnealyToday was a pretty low key day. I went to the fabric store for thread, cleaned up the sewing room and opened the "Box of Doom" i.e. my project box.
I have one large plastic bin where I keep all the materials I need for the projects that I'm working on. This way I have everything handy when I want to work on a project, and the only way things move out of the box is when they get completed. (OK, there is one project that got moved out of the box in an uncompleted state, but I screwed up so badly on that one that the fabric has gone back into the stash to be recycled.)
The reason I call it the Box of Doom, is thats where all the unfinished projects live, mocking me in their unfinished state. There's the fur trim for the Schaube which needs to be finished and attached. The Schaube itself is done and has been worn several times, but the fur is uncompleted. Then there's the green linen dress I started before GWW how many years ago? 2? Yah, I think it was 2005. Its still in the same state it was when it went in there, the Brownies didn't finish that one either. Bad Brownies! No brownies for you! (Wait, if a Brownie eats a brownie, is that cannabilism?....hmmm)
There's also the wulsthaube v2 from 2004, and the Schleier from 2003(?), both projects I haven't given up on, have kept researching but haven't gotton around to working on, best intentions aside.
So, my goal is to finish up the unfinished before I start anything new AND post the documentation and diaries on the website, scout's honor! And this should be a good goal, because I've got lots of cool new things to work on.
