Sewing like a mad woman, again
Aug. 17th, 2003 02:02 pmYou know, one of these days I am going to be able to sit down, sew and finish projects without a looming deadline, wonder when that's gonna happen? ;) Probably no time soon.
A little update: So next weekend is SSUT, South Sound Unity Test. All the SCA branches in the Puget Sound area are getting together and having their Champions, past Champions and novices enter things in a competion and the branch with the most medalions at the end wins.
Our dear Baroness, Anne-Marie, has decided that we are going to put forth our best effort to crush the competition and win. So, as a novice, I am going to be entering my orange and black dress in the competition.
But this just suddenly occured to me.... I probably can't wear it while its on display and being judged. So this means that its either the blue wool or my regular clothes. Or I could enter the blue wool Enn's dress, but its not as flashy as the orange and thus less likely to get votes.
This means that I am going to be working on the Pink Augsburg dress this week, as well as a new linen partlet and finishing up my new smock. The orange/black dress was a preliminary dress to the Pink A dress, which means that I am not really cutting any new ground, I have all the patterns made up and know exactly what needs to be done, now I just need to find the energy to get it done.
Anybody got a hyperactive kid who could let me borrow some energy from? Thinking something along the lines of a energy transfer thingy.
