Henry's new Rock is just about done, just need to do the final fitting on him to place the hooks and eyes for the front. It looks so cute! And warm, he should be warm enough in it. My shoulder is acting up today from hand sewing the 5 YARDS of hem I did for the skirt on it. 15 feet of hem for a two year old outfit, I must be crazy.
The shirt I've made for him based on Alpirsbach 27 looks really nice, need to do the final fitting to get the sleeve length right.
Today I'm cutting out my new wool dress, fortunately my brown silk dress pattern now fits me beautifully, so no need to make a new bodice pattern. But I am trying out a new skirt pattern, not sure how full a skirt it will be yet, either double or triple, but it will be full and circular.
If I have time, I'll also make a new gollar, fur lined. I'm so tired of freezing at events, and I'd like my lower back to be warm for once.
And then there's the several new hats and veils to hem for the class at University.
Guess I'd better go stretch out the shoulder and keep sewing!
