Really good Saturday
Sep. 20th, 2003 04:27 pmI, along with everybody else it seems on LJ, should be cleaning house, but here's a little update on the last few days.
The new fencing club looks like a great place, except the classes are on Tuesday and Thursday nights, my Tuesday night's are already booked with the discussion group. So no dice on that. Open fencing is still an option though that I am going to look into.
Friday my boss asked me if I could stay until the end of October so a couple of people could get out of the office on vacation that they desperatly need, so I said sure.
This morning I went over to my Grandma's house and we had lunch and then I set her computer up on the Internet. My Uncle had tried to do it yesterday afternoon .... Well. Enough said. I came over and set up a new account for her and made sure she could get on and off and set up the bookmarks for her so she can get to Oprah, Google and the Seattle public library website. She's doing pretty good for 83.
Stopped by the grocery store on the way home and bought flowers for our new neighbor and cat treats for her cat. Nothing like a little "Welcome to the neighborhood" gift to start things out right.
Its the Barony's game night tonight, looking forward to that. So very glad I didn't go to Autumn war, not sure I have anything warm enough, although I'm sure that the fighters are enjoying the cool Fall weather.
