I'm up to my eyeballs in plans and prep for the display at St. Luke's NEXT SATURDAY! EEEeeeeeeeeekkkkkkk!

OK, much calmer now.

Plans, life allowing:
- Food display of recipes out of Sabina Welserin's cookbook. Recipe pamphlet available, and I'll have it for download afterwards.

- Display of hats and headdresses, along with handout how to make the wulsthaube and steuchlein. I'll also have on that you can try on and see how it looks on you. I will be taking orders for them as well.

- The two dresses that I'm happiest with, 1590's outfit and the brown silk dress.
- Research papers and blog posts
- New table.

The table probably won't have the finish on it, but it should be put together.

Guess I'd better get off LJ and back to work!

how long of a drive it is for you? I just found out it is about 4 hrs for me....

I'm lucky, its about 30 mins for me.

Maybe. I don't know how I'm doing stuff right now. I may have to try to day trip it, but it would be nice to have a backup plan.

It would be an awfully long day trip, with a four hour drive on either end. I can't promise a clean house, but I can promise a comfy place to sleep, hot showers and food.
