Fab weekend so far!

mmcnealyThis has just been the best weekend so far, knock on wood.
Yesterday I got so much accomplished! The house is in presentable shape again, the bathroom got a good scrubing, the kitchen is spotless, I made a scrumpious Italian white bean soup and a chocolate cake that turned out so-so, but I think I made a mistake and whipped the egg whites too long, its still yummy but it needs a custard sauce to moisten it a little so that is beyond yummy.
On top of all of that, I went grocery shopping and picked up two new pairs of jeans that actually fit and were exactly what I was looking for, how bazarre is that?
I can never find them when I want them, but when I get random jean buying urges and I go to the store they are there, in my size and exactly what I wanted, low rise, stretch and a deep blue, plus they were on SALE! I must have jean ESP or something.
Both my car-less friends got cars yesterday, YC and CC! WooHoo! You go girls! CC came over for dinner last night to show off her new baby, we both decided that it really needed animal print seat covers, probably tiger print ones.
Matt called last night and we had the best chat about this and that. I can't wait for him to get home so that there's no time limit on our conversations, having to wrap things up in 15 min just plain sucks.
Today I slept in and then decided to dye my hair with a auburn brown dye that I picked up. Its one of those that washes out in 24 shampoos. Anyway, my hair is now this pretty dark brown with coppery red hightlights, the blond highlights in my hair have turned strawberry blondish. Loving it so far. ;)
This afternoon meeting up with YC and the Baroness and we are off to go pick apples and pears to make cider and stuff. Its such a beautiful day for it too, cloudless and sunny, about 78 degrees outside. Perfect weather.
