Official Ditzy Saturday Moment

mmcnealySo here I am working away at the computer and I look up and realize that my windows are all steamed up, all the windows in the house. I think "That's odd, I wonder why?" So I wander around the house trying to figure out why, I walk into the kitchen and there's a pot on the stove boiling away.
Uh?
Smack me why dontcha!
I put a big pot of water on the stove to make corn on the cob and its been boiling away for about 25 minutes. I had totally forgoton about it and hadn't set the timer like I normally do. Good thing its a big pot with a lot of water in it.
