I've got the National Trust one if you want me to go and get it out and comment?

I have Inside Out. Cute little book. no line drawings of garments or patterns. I paid like $5 for mine, and that is about what I think it is worth. A few garments that I haven't seen elsewhere, Every other page is a photo, but not all are pictures of garments, some are illustrations.
I rarely ever refference it, the text is rather simple. all British items of course. I can't place my copy right now. The two most interesting to me were a pair of child's stays, 19th cent and a regency era chemise with bust gussets! I would put this book at the bottom of a list, Like I said, I paid 5, if it had been 10 I wouldn't have bothered.

I can check out the other from my library, as I don't remember reading it.

No, but I'm going to look into them now you've pointed them out :) Most History of Underwear books have half a page on medieval stuff and acres of everthing from the 16th C onwards. I have two really cute books on later ones.
