Baronial A&S Competition

Yesterday was our Baronial A&S competition, and it was a splendid day all around. My friend YC was the autocrat, or steward, of the event and everything turned out wonderfully. The feast was really, really good, and we heard a hilarious song about turnips, original composition but done in an Elizabethian period broadside style.

I got some great feedback on my shipwreck knitted hat, the judges were really pleased with how my display was set up and how easy it was to read. The comments were all things that were just little added touches to make it a "Wow" exhibit if I wanted to take it to Kingdom A&S, which is actually in my parent's home town this year, so its a tempting concept.

However, today I am totally wipped out, exhusted, caput. Gee, I wonder why?

Here's the plan for today:
-Go for walk to wake up, as caffine doesn't seem to be currently working.
-Make Quince butter from quinces recieved yesterday.
-Do homework
-Buy things for making Colleen's veil, her wedding is next Saturday.

I am so glad everything went well for your display!! I would be interested to see your shipwreck knitted hat it sounds very intriguing! It is nice that you are pleased. I also understand that whiped out part.

I am going to post the documentation and pictures in early November, that's when the website is going to get about 4 new articles and diaries, until then I have NO time to do any updating. Gah, I so can't wait until this job is over with.
