mmcnealyMy foot feels so much better now that the Podiatrist got the shard of glass out. She said that I had done a good full hearted effort in getting it in there. I didn't get to see it since it popped out on its own, once she had scrapped and scrapped the callous down to that level.
After that ordeal, I called and told my boss that I wasn't coming in for the rest of the day.
She was a little snotty about it, but I haven't been feeling good all week but have come in anyway cause we were short. Today we weren't, so I decided to go home and sleep, instead of going to work and bursting into tears.
What are they going to do, fire me for my last 6 days, 3 of which I am covering for her while she's on vacation? Yah, right, I could only hope.
