Costuming update

In a totally different arena than the last post....

I am now the proud posessor of a grey squirrel coat that will be winging its way to me via post, hopefully soon. I found someone who had one for sale on eBay that you could also do a "Buy Now" on, so I bought it now. Probably paid more than I would have if I had bid for it, but I am tired of losing auctions and didn't really feel like doing the esnipe.com thing, although that totally sounds like the best business money maker idea ever.

I also bought a pasta roller/cutter machine on Friday night, so besides making great pasta, I should be able to experiment with making my own watered moire silk. Yes, I am gettin excessively obessive and compulsive about this dress.

I'm green with envy! A large amount of grey squirrels would certainly make my day. There's nothing more appropriate to line medieval clothes than that. OK, it really should be the white bellies, with just a little grey around the edges, if you want to do upper class medieval clothes but I'm not that picky.

Thanks, eBay has some wonderful things for sale. I plan to turn it into several something wonderfulls, just need to figure out exactly what though.

Ohhh Ahhh, sounds interesting...Ive been totally out of the LJ loop (busy with school and sewing) I am not up on what your making? So, what are you going to make?
