November's going fast

mmcnealyI still don't know where this month has gone too, I swear I blinked and it just zipped by. I haven't gotton half the stuff done that I had planned to, including updating the website and getting lots of sewing done. Probably has something to do with my husband getting home and actually wanting me to spend time with him, such a novel concept, uh?
I have gotton to the University library the last two days and gotton lots of textile and art research done for my own projects and the grant proposal paper for class. The research for the 12th night costume is coming along and I have figured out the style of dress that is being worn under the cloak.
Now I just need to figure out the fabric, hopefully going to be able to use what I already have in the stash downstairs. That's this afternoon's project, organizing, cataloging and storing in tubs the stash. Uberfun!
The watered silk doesn't look like its feasible to do, as I found a diagram of the process and I don't happen to have a large roller mill out in the garage. I might still try a couple of experiments, but its looking more and more like its not an option to make my own.
Tonight's the last night of fencing for the month, still need to figure out what I'm going to do next quarter, definitly going to keep going just need to figure out which weapon.
