40 more eyelets to go....

and I am so bored of them! Eyelets really should be done when you have lots of energy and aren't in need of socialization, either that or you are on forced bed rest. I have four done and 40 more to go, of course they go faster when you aren't counting them, but oh well.

Grandma came over today and I helped her order Christmas presents for my brothers off of Amazon, then I took care of my online shopping.


Right now I am in the middle of listening to all of my CD's, and putting the ones I don't like in a box either to sell or give away. I have just decided that Beethoven's String Quartet in C shart minor, Op 131 falls into the 'Get rid of it' catagory due to it being so dark and depressing, whereas the 3 swing dance CD's are going to stay in the collection. Yesterday was Latin Saturday, where I listened to all the Latin stuff in the collection, tomorrow is Celtic Monday, so it'll be a non-stop dancing kinda day.

_I_ think eyelets should be done either when you have someone to socialize with or something really good on TV, since they are, as you say, boring, boring, but doesn't really demand that you use your brain. One thing you can't do at the same time however is to watch films in french. I tried that ("La fille de d'Artagnan"), but I really need to look at the subtitles with french films. English (and swedish) films are okay, and to some extent german, but not french.
What are your eyelets for?

The eyelets are for my new corset, its black silk and the eyelets are in yellow silk floss, the binding will be red linen or maybe red silk, haven't figured that part out yet, but definitly red.

I'd forgotton about the movie trick to handsewing, thanks for the reminder. :) I'm planning to put on Pride and Predjudice, which I've watched probably 10 times and don't need to look at the screen to follow along with the movie.
