Library research day and some fun manuscript links

Yesterday, I spent the entire day going over my found citations for this paper and then finding them in the school's databases and catalogs. So now that I am all organized its off to the library for me to go pour through the stacks and stand over the copier.  Then if I'm a good girl, I might even let myself photocopy some stuff for my own costuming research.

Fencing news: I kicked rear last night in class, I'm chalking it up to the seminar this weekend.

And for fun links, check this out. Its all the illuminated manuscripts that have a person weaving in them that are in the National Library of the Netherlands, 4 of them are tablet weaving Madonna's and one of them is using a box loom.

 All the spinning ones are here, there is a nice picture of some women in  beautiful Burgundians, with taller truncated hennins. I haven't figured out what the magic search word for knitting is to find those ones yet.
