The Worth of Women: Wherein Is Clearly Revealed Their Nobility and Their Superiority to Men (The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe)
Here at Amazon, haven't read it yet, but it does look fun to read.

Working women in renaissance Germany, by Merry E. Wiesner, Rutgers University Press 1986, ISBN 0-8135-1138-0

Got this from the library yesterday, looks to be a good overview of women's actual roles and the societal pressures and realities that structured their involvement in the world of work.

I might need to give in to the evil that is Amazon, and buy a couple books! :)

See if you can get them from the library first to see if they are worth the money, then if they are worth you're hard earned pennies, buy them. If they aren't worth buying, then all you've spent is time.
