Well the rest of yesterday and all of today sure didn't go as planned.

Yesterday, right after my last post, lightening started striking very close to my house, so I shut down the computer and uplugged everything. We had quite a big storm blow through, lots of wind, pouring rain, thunder, lightening, hail. Finaly just as things got calm again and I was headed over to the computer to work on homework, the power went out. It proceeded to stay out for 4 hours. How very inconvenient! I did get lots of embroidery done and had a nice chat with my neighbor, but no school stuff done.

Today, woke up with a headache, got stuck in traffic going to a doctor's appointment, got trapped into reading a really good book, took a nap, then finally decided it was time to buckle down or else! Now the project is turn in and its time for bed. Matt was hoping to be able to come home tonight, but it looks like it'll be Friday before I see him as originally planned. I was really hoping he would be able to come home tonight, I'm really missing him this week.

Tomorrow, work on the other class's assignment, paper research (blarg), work on outfit for Saturday. I'm also hoping for no headaches, but I'm thinking its time to go see the chiropractor.

Close to your house indeed! I drove up there to my mom's house last night and I saw the trees down in your area. Yikes.

The weather missed us completely, just a few miles south of you.

This is a very true story- Tuesday around 2:30pm Edan & i decide to go to the zoo. We park at the south gate. We look upward to the sky, some blue with grayish clouds, kinda warm....Not to bad, We decide to leave our coats, sweaters AND umbrellas in the car. The further we got away from the car the colder & windier it got. When we got the most furthest away from the car (Northwest trail at the bears & otters. That is when it started.
"Aine', I think the otters are flirting with you. Oh look the Bear is coming down to the alcove"<<<<>>>I turned to eden & said
"Look at the otters water"...Hail!!!!!!
So there we were Coatless, being pelted by hail the size of granola, freezing Rain AND winds going up to 60 miles an hour . By the time we got back to the car (45 minutes later) you could see through our clothes, my uncovered arms were blue & Eden and I were having the best time of our lifes-Ysabelot

Eeep!

I wondered about you two at the zoo, but figured you had enough sense between the two of you to have brought jackets and be prepared for rain, I guess not though. Glad you had a good time getting throughly chilled.

Silly girls!
